At a rally in Ahmedabad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a firm message against global economic pressures, subtly referencing tariff-related challenges. He reassured small entrepreneurs, farmers, and animal keepers that their welfare is a top priority for his government. Modi pledged unwavering protection for these groups, stating that India would not bow to external economic interests. He highlighted Gujarat’s role in powering the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, crediting two decades of consistent development. Taking a veiled dig at countries pursuing “economic self-interest politics,” Modi asserted that his government would continue to build resilience and safeguard India's grassroots economic strength.
