Indian National Killed In Riyadh, MEA Confirms Total 6 Dead, 1 Missing Amid Israel-Iran War

An Indian national was killed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on March 18, raising the number of Indian deaths in the Gulf due to the Iran–US-Israel conflict to six. Aseem Mahajan, additional secretary (Gulf), confirmed the death during an inter-ministerial briefing and extended condolences, saying the Indian mission in Riyadh is coordinating with authorities for the return of mortal remains. One Indian remains missing. Indian missions in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iraq, and the UAE are monitoring the situation and assisting with repatriation. Meanwhile, 15 rescued crew members of MT Safesea Vishnu left Iraq for India via Saudi Arabia, and 24 Indian seafarers from MD MKD Vyom and MT Skylight have safely arrived in India from Oman.
