Fresh cracks have emerged within the INDIA bloc ahead of its June 8 meeting in Delhi, with AAP and DMK leaders openly criticising the Congress party. AAP leader Priyanka Kakkar ruled out any alliance with Congress, accusing the party of prioritising its own political interests and failing to effectively challenge the BJP.Meanwhile, DMK leader TKS Elangovan said his party would not attend the INDIA alliance meeting, alleging that Congress had shifted its support towards TVK in Tamil Nadu. He claimed Congress had made it clear that future electoral arrangements would be centred around TVK rather than DMK. Responding to concerns over opposition unity, Congress MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam said the alliance meeting would focus on key organisational and political issues, expressing confidence that temporary electoral setbacks would be overcome as the bloc charts its future course.
