'Will Be Isolated If…’: Ex-U.S. Official Blasts Trump's 'Ally-Alienating' Policy, Calls It Disaster

Former U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo launched a scathing attack on Donald Trump’s foreign policy. She warned Washington was “making a big mistake with India” by alienating key allies. Speaking at Harvard, Raimondo blasted Trump’s “America First” approach as “America Alone.” She said the policy weakened U.S. influence and strained ties with Europe and Asia. Raimondo also urged a diplomatic reset, accusing Trump of hubris and isolationism. Her remarks come amid rising U.S.–India trade tensions over tariffs and Russian oil.
