Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has launched a fierce attack on the United States, accusing Washington of abandoning international law and pursuing dominance in global energy markets. In a strongly worded interview, Lavrov claimed US actions in countries like Iran and Venezuela are driven by control over oil and natural resources. He alleged that US foreign policy is pushing the world back toward a “lawless era,” where power overrides diplomacy. Lavrov’s remarks come amid rising global tensions and ongoing conflict dynamics involving energy routes and geopolitical influence, reinforcing Moscow’s narrative that Washington prioritizes strategic dominance over international norms.
