'Promised $3,200/Month...': Colombian Fighter Captured By Russia Blasts Zelensky's Commanders

A Colombian mercenary captured by the Russian troops has made sensational revelation on the plight of foreign fighters in the ongoing Ukraine war. In an interview to a Russian channel, 23-year-old William Andres Gallego Orozco claimed he was hired as a cook on promise of being paid $3,200 a month by the Ukrainian armed forces. However, the Colombian fighter alleged that he was instead forced to undergo a brief military training before being attached to a foreign mercenary unit fighting against the Russians. The Colombian fighter claimed he witnessed heavy casualties among foreign recruits while the Ukrainian commanders stayed away from the front.
