‘Profits Could Double’: Iran Claims Hormuz Control Could Earn Twice Its Oil Revenue Amid Gulf War

Iranian Army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia claimed Tehran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz would generate economic gains far greater than oil exports. He also warned that Iran’s naval presence could prevent the US from restoring military facilities across Gulf countries. The remarks come amid escalating conflict involving Iran, the United States and Israel after major strikes and retaliatory attacks across the region.
