Iran claimed it forced several U.S. warships to retreat from the Oman Sea following missile and drone warnings issued by Iranian naval forces. According to the Iranian Navy, the operation involved the use of Qadir missiles and newly developed "Martyr Dana" offensive drones. Tehran alleged that U.S. destroyers and other vessels linked to the George W. Bush Carrier Strike Group, as well as the amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli, withdrew toward the Indian Ocean after receiving the warnings. Iran described the move as part of its efforts to counter what it called American maritime aggression and interference in regional waters. The Iranian Navy also warned that it could deploy even longer-range missiles if tensions continue to escalate.
