U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy slammed Democratic leaders Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries during a press briefing at Philadelphia International Airport, blaming them for worsening air travel disruptions amid the ongoing government shutdown. Duffy claimed the Department of Transportation had done “everything possible” to minimize flight delays and cancellations, but said unpaid air traffic controllers could soon cause widespread chaos.
