Pune metro: Long awaited construction work starts at old Pune-Mumbai highway

Long awaited construction work of Pune metro started at the old Pune-Mumbai highway on Friday. There were traffic snarls due to the ongoing construction work but traffic cops were on their toes to tackle with the situation. The stinking Mula river and garbage dumped under the Harris bridge dapodi near the construction site is an unfortunate situation that the construction workers will have to deal with.
