Hindustan Zinc declares special dividend of 1200%

Hindustan Zinc's board of directors have declared a special golden jubilee dividend of 1200%-- the highest by any private company in India. The dividend which amounts to Rs. 24 on an equity share of Rs 2 each would entail a cash outflow of nearly Rs 12,2015 crore, including dividend distribution tax.
