UP Transformation Dialogues: Shravan Kumar Vishwakarma highlights state's improving air infra
The UP Transformation Dialogues, a flagship initiative by The Times of India, was held on Friday, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, experts, and change-makers to chronicle Uttar Pradesh’s transformation journey.
In the session titled "Sky's the Limit: Youth & UP’s Infrastructure Economy,” Shravan Kumar Vishwakarma, Chairman, Shankh Airlines, reflected on the state’s infrastructure journey. He credited UP’s existing and improving infra for as a factor behind him being able to propel his business into a full fledged service.
Responding to a question on the increasing number of airports in the state he emphasized that it directly corresponds to the increasing number of airlines. “As the number of airlines will keep increasing the demand will increase and so will the need for infrastructure, in terms of airports that we see from Jewar airport to Ayodhya.”
Vishwakarma also talked about his motto to turn air travel for ordinary people into a normal transport service rather than a luxury experience.
He highlighted the regulatory norms and the process has never become a struggle and hassle for operating the business and service, and that he expects the process to get even smoother going forward.
Vishwakarma went on to say that feedback is critical for enhancing service quality. Candidly accepting that everyone makes mistake he said, "it would be wrong to suggest that we don't make mistakes, but important is when customers give feedback we take it and improve the fault points and get better."
