Imman Annachi joins DMK

Imman Annachi, a household name on Tamil television has ventured into politics. The KuttyChutties anchor joined the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in the presence of the party’s leader M Karunanidhi.Interestingly, Imman Annachi shot to fame with the show Sollunganne Sollunga on Adithya TV and currently hosts the children’s show Kutty Chutties on Sun TV. Both channels are owned by Kalanidhi Maran, brother of the DMK politician, Dayanidhi Maran. The actor has many films to his credit, including Goli Soda, Poojai and Puli.
