The heat is on for
Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 contestant Aryan Kathuria, as he finds himself at the center of controversy and viewer backlash. A recent poll conducted by ETimes on Instagram reveals that a whopping 63% of netizens want
Aryan to be evicted this week, a clear signal that his actions in the house have not gone down well with the audience.
Aryan's turbulent week in the house has included a failed game plan, inappropriate gestures, and controversial remarks that have left both housemates and viewers disappointed. Out of the seven contestants nominated for eviction, the poll focused on four: Aryan Kathuria, Oneal Sabu, Renu Sudhi, and Adhila. Aryan led the eviction poll by a large margin, followed by Renu Sudhi (18%), Oneal Sabu (10%), and Adhila (9%).
The controversy surrounding Aryan intensified after he refused to participate in the "Panippura Challenge," which involved shaving one’s head. His refusal wasn't the issue alone, it was his argumentative and dismissive tone during the task that irked both housemates and fans. His justification and combative attitude sparked criticism across social media platforms.
Aryan further courted trouble during the emotionally charged "Oridathoridathu" task, where fellow contestant Shaitya shared her personal life story.
Aryan was caught laughing during the segment, a move seen as insensitive and disrespectful. When co-contestant Abhilash pointed this out, Aryan responded by lashing out and shockingly throwing a chappal at him, an action that drew strong condemnation.
As a result of his repeated misconduct, Bigg Boss directly nominated Aryan for eviction as punishment.
To add fuel to the fire, during the weekend episode, Aryan's reportedly mocking and dismissive behavior towards host
Mohanlal did not sit well with the audience. Many called it disrespectful and arrogant.
While the eviction results are yet to be officially confirmed, it’s clear that Aryan is currently facing a serious risk of elimination. Fans will have to wait until the weekend episode to see if the audience’s strong opinion reflects in the final eviction outcome.
