Did Sourabh Raaj Jain slam Shilpa Shinde for her remarks towards Shubhangi Atre? Says, “It’s you who lacks fundamental decency”

Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai is one of the most popular and loved shows on Indian television. However, there have been controversies around it quite often. The show started in 2015 with Shilpa Shinde playing the lead as Angoori Bhabhi. However, she was later replaced by Shubhangi Atre. Since then, Shubhangi has played Angoori for almost a decade. However, Shilpa Shinde is now set to step back into the role of Angoori after Shubhangi Atre made an exit from the show.


Sourabh Raaj Jain, who’s best known for his role in Mahabharat, has now shared a cryptic post on social media. Fans believe that the post is directed towards Shilpa Shinde over her remarks towards Shubhangi Atre.



The social media post read, “The replaced actor entertained the audience for around 10 years, being loved throughout, and for whatever reasons, when the first actor again steps into the same character, which she let go of for whatever reasons 10 years back, tells media… the replaced actor isn’t as big as she is and lacks comic timing. No ma’am, it’s YOU who lack basic decency… IYKYK.”



He further wrote, “Why am I sharing this… It’s for the learning of myself and for all like-minded people. It’s humility that counts; everything else is transient.” The post has been circulating on social media ever since Sourabh shared it. Fans have come to a conclusion that the post is directed towards Shilpa Shinde.


Previously, in an interview with Bombay Times, Shubhangi opened up about her exit from the show and comparisons with Shilpa Shinde. She said, “I just want to say that I am ending this replacement game now. I told my mum that Shilpa left the show in nine to ten months, so it felt like she handed me a newborn baby. I raised that baby for ten years, and now I am returning it to her. I gave it values and sanskars, and I am passing it back with a full heart. I wish Shilpa all the very best and also the entire team for the 2.0 version of the show. She is a fantastic actor, and I am genuinely fond of her.”
