‘Anupamaa’ December 25 episode written update: Ishani’s truth exposed, Prarthana takes a stand

This Christmas episode brought on a lot of drama in Anupama’s home this time around. On December 24, it was found that the gold which belonged to Sarita Tai had actually been stolen. Yesterday’s episode began with all of the chawl members urging Anupama that they want to buy gold for Bharti’s wedding.While buying gold, they end up spotting one of the necklaces that had been a part of the stolen gold. This reveals that Ishani was the reason that the gold went missing. Chaos ensues as Anupama gets emotional and distraught. She asked why the children in her family did something like this. She, however, does not give up on Ishani and instead tries to teach her a lesson. The scene changes to Paritosh dreaming about being rich and flowing with cash. However, Kinjal wakes him up, and the dream ends. The man then promises, while inspired by his dream, that he will work hard towards achieving his goals and that he will soon open his own firm, no matter what. The Kothari house, on the other hand, is buzzing with preparations for Prarthana's godbharai event. Though drama follows along, Prarthana stands strong with her decisions. First, Motiba insists that the Shahs should not be invited to the event; however, Parag intervenes. He stands strong against the statement and says that whatever Prarthana wants should happen with the event. On the other hand, Gautam comes forward saying that he will be responsible for naming the baby, shocking everyone. Prarthana takes a stand and declares that she and Ansh are the only ones who can do that. She also ends up threatening legal procedures too.Bharti’s ceremony also goes on with great energy, with everyone dressed head to toe in yellow to keep in theme with the haldi ceremony. While handing out shagun to Bharti, Anupama insists that Ishani hand it to her. Her granddaughter is left shocked after finding out that the shagun consists of the same necklace as the one she had stolen and sold in the prior episode. The necklace causes the chawl members to debate and inquire about what went wrong. Anupama saves the day yet again, although sarcastically, that Ishani had mortgaged the necklace off to pay the medical bills of her dying maternal grandmother. To teach Ishani a lesson. She puts a show garland around her neck in front of everyone.
