Appropriately named, as this playground features a number of yellow slides, the playground offers free street parking and a ton of things to do for kids of all ages. Located at Deerview Dr SE and Deerview Pl SE, this playground is absolutely mammoth. It caters especially to those kids who love to climb, offering climbing challenges suitable for both little and bigger kids. There are multiple climbers which feature monkey bars, catwalks, slides, stairs, play panels and more. There is a small preschool climber with its own slide, small rock climbing wall and ladders as well. Saucer swings, green spinning saucers, teeter-totters, bouncers and much more complete the range of things to play on here. One of the most popular climbing features is the blue and yellow net climber that allows several children to climb at a time. There are benches and picnic tables scattered around the playground, providing plenty of places to sit and rest. Unfortunately, the ground is not recycled tire but pea gravel instead because of which the younger ones can gain a couple bumps and bruises.
