It is one night only but what a night it is! This annual free event takes places annually and draws in thousands of visitors from all over the country. The city is divided into 3 sections, Downtown, The Exchange District and St. Boniface; each organising their own unique events. The goal of this festival is to celebrate the art and culture in the city and every year is different in what it offers. Every gallery, artist, curator and individual wanting to host an event is welcome to register. The only stipulation is that it remains free to the public and celebrates cotemporary art. Prepare yourself for a night filled with music, dance, beauty, inspiration and art. The celebration goes the entire night, from 6 pm to 6 am with the three different zones illuminated as well as other hot spots in the city. It is a night when pedestrian and cyclists take to the streets to see all of what the city has to offer, it is a night where businesses stay up late and celebrate the culture and it is a night where locals can experience both emerging and successful artists in the most natural of ways.
