This small park boasts one impressive playground, suitable for all ages and located on 14 St SE and St. Monica Ave SE in Inglewood. This playground has one of the most community like feel to it in all of Calgary, featuring a gazebo and a variety of seating options including picnic tables and Adirondack chairs as well as large mature trees that surround it. What sets this playground apart is the abundance of accessible activities on the ground floor. All over the ground are things that can be swung on, bounced on or spun on; great for those with limited mobility skills. A tall climber features a couple of slides including a tunnel slide as well as monkey bars and other climbable options. A large net climbing structure is great for kids of all ages, whether they choose to hang off the ropes on the bottom or climb to the top. Saucer swings, teeter totters and a soft mat to fall on make this a popular playground for those with younger kids. As an added bonus, it’s extremely close to Spolumbo’s, a popular lunch restaurant that is worth eating at.
