A legendary name in south Indian comfort food, Mavalli Tiffin Rooms has, over the years, become an icon of Bangalore’s gastronomic culture. Little has changed since this vegetarian eatery first opened its doors in 1924 and the food served at MTR is a regular, wholesome Kannada cuisine. Each day, more than a 1000 customers visit the eatery and the MTR store adjacent to the restaurant sells a wide range of popular South Indian treats and delicacies. Savoury local fare accompanied by frothy filter coffee makes for a true Bangalore experience.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
