Saravana Bhavan

Started as a tiny restaurant in Chennai, Saravana Bhavan now has branches all over the world and is a reliable bet for Tamil vegetarian fare. It serves excellent idlis, vadas, dosas, uthappams and rice dishes flavoured with lemon, tamarind, tomato or coriander.
