Florida’s Walt Disney World has a new set of rules for visitors. The rules have been put in place keeping in mind the current COVID-19 situation. Visitors cannot consume food and drinks while walking around in the Disney World. This is done to ensure that people have their masks on at all times. Of course, eating or drinking while walking would require us to take our masks off. But now, that is not going to happen as you are not permitted to eat or drink when walking.
The extremely popular Disney World opened up for visitors in July, and has completely reformed its rules to cope with the COVID-19 situation. While you can visit the theme park, you are advised to follow all rules pertaining to social distancing etc. Both visitors and cast members are required to cover their faces. At the same time, there is a curb on the capacity of visitors and fireworks and other events have been suspended.
Of course, the mask can come off when eating but you cannot walk around and eat anymore, so do bear in mind.
The park authorities are also screening the temperature of staff and visitors before entry, and there a squad has been formed that enforces social distancing and makes sure that everyone is wearing their face masks. You are also provided with hand-sanitizers here at the park and, interestingly, there is a relaxation station where you can take off your mask and sit down at a table.
