When was the last time you went for a hike in the forest, to a conservation area for Olive Ridley turtles, centuries old forts, temples and monasteries, white sand beaches, had chilled beer and phenomenal all-night parties with travelers from all over the world. Does it sound like too much to expect? Well, that is Canacona in South Goa. It is as surreal as surreal can get. Canacona, the southernmost Taluka bordering Karnataka, can potentially redefine your idea of a vacation in Goa.
Tip:
Chaudi, the headquarter for Canacona taluka, does not offer many hotels, so people usually go straight for the shacks, guest houses or resorts on nearby beaches.
Besides this, here are some of the other places to visit in Goa.
