Assam, along with the rest of the country, on Thursday mourned the demise of singer Manna Dey whose melodious voice touched the hearts of thousands of people for decades. Dey breathed his last in Bangalore.

The Arcurea festival at Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute will feature directors Asghar Farhadi and Naomi Kawase. The festival will include tribute screenings of restored films and the inauguration of Pramod Pati Cinema Art and Technology Museum.
