The movie was supposed to release in April, but everything got postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Recently, the song created a huge buzz in the industry. Now, 'Pogaru' is all set for release in Tollywood.

Sandalwood's action Prince Dhruva Sarja-starrer ‘Pogaru’ went on the floors two years ago.

According to reports, Pogaru is being helmed as a Kannada-Telugu bilingual and the makers are all set to unveil the Telugu version of Karabuu song in the coming days.

The trailer of ‘Shivarjuna’, starring actor Chiranjeevi Sarja, Akshatha and Amrutha and directed by Shiva Tejas was recently launched.

While the original number has been crooned by Chandan Shetty who also wrote the lyrics and composed the music for the film, the Telugu song is sung by Anurag Kulkarni with lyrics penned by Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar. Anurag is known for songs like ‘Pilla Raa’ and ‘Ramuloo Ramulaa’.

After mostly seen so far playing romantic roles, actor Druva Sarja will be seen playing a character with negative shades in Nanda Kishore’s next project titled Pogaru. The actor has become choosy with his scripts and wants to move away from doing regular rom-com or commercial ventures, we hear.

To cash in on Rashmika's popularity in the Telugu states, the makers of her latest Kannada film ‘Pogaru’ have helmed the project as a bilingual and the Telugu rights have been acquired by D Prathap Raju for a massive Rs 3.30 crore.

Organized by producer b.k. gangadhar ('Pogaru'), the press meet will include all the producers who have their films ready for release.

Kannada film icon Darshan is set to make waves with 'The Devil' hitting theaters on December 11. With more than 150 early screenings scheduled across Karnataka, excitement is skyrocketing as two lakh tickets are already sold. Director Prakash Veer emphasizes the film is crafted specifically for Kannada lovers.
