Kochi city police has registered a case against the management committee of Peace Educational Foundation for allegedly disrupting communal harmony.

A day after a case was filed against the Peace Educational Foundation for allegedly disrupting communal harmony by teaching students objectionable content in the syllabus, the police submitted the FIR in the case before magistrate on Saturday . Police said the textbooks used by Peace International School were not approved by bodies like the state council of educational research and training, the central board of secondary education and the state board.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday registered two FIRs to take over the cases related to missing of 20-odd Kerala youth who are suspected to have joined Islamic State (ISIS). The two FIRs will cover seven cases registered at Chandera police station in Kasargod and two cases registered at Palakkad town south station.
