The trailer for the fifth and final season of "Star Trek Discovery" has been released at San Diego Comic Con and on Star Trek's website. The trailer shows Captain Burnham pursuing enemies via warp speed and space exploration while facing an ancient evil. The captain has to work with other characters despite their various conflicts and work towards the same goal. The season is set to launch in 2024 and will have new cast members in addition to familiar ones. "Star Trek Discovery" is being produced by CBS Studios and is streaming on OTT.

The makers of the sci-fi series 'Star Trek: Discovery' have released a preview of the upcoming fifth and final season. The new footage features Capt. Michael Burnham and Cleveland 'Book' Booker contending with a massive, hostile alien creature. Season 5 will uncover a mystery that sends them on an epic adventure across the galaxy to find an ancient power deliberately hidden for centuries. Dangerous foes are also on the hunt, desperate to claim the prize for themselves. The season will premiere in April 2024.
