The deceased was identified as D.sowmya, a software professional. Police said that D.sowmya's marriage was fixed with a youngster few weeks ago however, D.sowmya was not willing to get married to the youngster. She resorted to the extreme step after becoming unable to cope with the stressful situation. A case has been registered and the body was shifted for postmortem.
