MUMBAI: Noted film maker N.C. Sippy died after a protracted illness at a private hospital here on Sunday morning. The 75-year-old producer, who was not well for the past six months, is survived by two sons, director Raj Sippy and producer Ramu Sippy, and a daughter.

MUMBAI: Well known film maker N C Sippy died early on Sunday at a private hospital here after a protracted illness, family sources said.

Iconic films of Jaya Bachchan like Mili, Koshish and Bawarchi are set to be remade for today's times. Sameer Raj Sippy, son of Raj Sippy and grandson of NC Sippy, the original producers of these films is the man behind these projects.

Amitabh bought his Juhu bungalow Jalsa, now under I-T scanner, in 1977 from producer Romu Sippy.

Bachchan family has been granted permission to construct an additional floor on their present property.
