Director Jayathirtha has completed the shoot of his new film 'Banaras'. The film stars debutant Zaid Khan and actress Sonal Monteiro. Read the story to know more.

After the success of ‘Bell Bottom’ director Jayathirtha is getting great opportunities in Sandalwood.

The film will have the same cast as the original, including Rishab Shetty, Hariprriya and PD Sathish Chandra, among others

The director returns into this space with his upcoming film Kaiva, which features actors Dhanveerrah and Megha Shetty in lead roles.

The shoot was wrapped up back in December of 2020 and the film will release in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam.

The project will be directed by Jayathirtha who had directed the first installment. The film has the tagline Adventures of Detective Divakar.

The makers are looking at starting the shoot next year

Director Shashank, who is one of the five filmmakers in the anthology, had recently revealed that the team was in the pursuit of an appropriate title and even shared a small video clip of their brainstorming session.

He will be part of the ensemble cast for the five-director project and will front Jayathirtha's story

Dr V Jayathirtha Rao, chief scientist and head, crop protection division, CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad has been awarded the lifetime achievement by the Indian Institution of Oriental Heritage, Kolkata.

Titled 'Kaiva', Dhanveerah is slated to play the titular role that is said to be a reference to the Hindu deity Kaivara Bheema - the same reports also reveal that the film is based on a real incident that took place in 1983 and will be a romantic drama with crime elements.

The makers shared a special poster and posed an interesting question in relation to the new case that Detective Diwakara would emabark on.
