Om Puri is intending to get serious on promoting theatre in Punjab.

CHANDIGARH: Paying tributes to Punjabi theatre icon Harpal Tiwana, actor Om Puri on Thursday urged Punjabis to contribute to the foundation set up in the memory of the late thespian.

After the announcement to set up a music academy in the memory of the late singer Ishmeet Singh, Punjab government has now decided to commemorate the late singer's birthday falling on September 2.
