The first phase of the 101-play series written by S Gursharan Singh ended on Sunday with the play 'Baba Bolda hai' directed by dr sahib singh. The series was organized to pay tributes to the legendary Punjabi theatre personality by Adakar Manch.

With a hope to take Punjabi Theatre a step ahead, city-based writer-cum-theatre director dr sahib singh is releasing his plays in form of books.

On the third day of annual theatre festival, “Adakarian 2012” the North Zone Cultural Centre and Adakar Manch presented a play “Aad Kuari” — written and directed by dr sahib singh — on the premises of Post-graduate Government College in Sector 46.

Dr Rajinder Kaur, Prof Ramanjit Kaur and Dr Sukhdev Singh were also honoured, who are working in different college of the SGPC as principal.

A two-day seminar on finalization of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and its musicology was inaugurated in Guru Nanak Dev University on Monday.
