The Delhi Commission for Women has summoned social welfare secretary Dilraj Kaur in connection with the Asha Kiran Home case. East Singhbhum DC Ravi Shankar Shukla issued orders for shutting down vegetable markets in all the three urban municipal body areas —Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, Mango Notified Area Committee and Jugsalai municipality — during the weekends from July 11 till further orders. The objective behind this order is to sanitise the markets and resultantly, help in curbing the spread of the virus, the district officials said.
