Veteran actress B Jaya passed away at a hospital in Bengaluru on Thursday. Her last rites will be performed at Chamarajete, Bengaluru, today (June 4). According to reports, the 76-year-old actress was suffering from age-related ailments for a while now.

The entire Telugu entertainment industry mourned the sudden demise of filmmaker B Jaya. Actor and award-winning TV host Baladithya of Sambhavi fame, who made his onscreen debut with B Jaya’s first film, paid a visit to her family this morning and conveyed his condolences.

B Jaya, who had directed films like Chantigadu and Lovely in the past, is back to wielding megaphone after a brief hiatus.
