After a legal battle of 36 years, Khetri Trust, constituted by erstwhile ruler of Khetri, Raja Bahadur Sardar Singh, received possession of all its assets, which had been bequeathed to the trust by Sardar Singh before his death in January 1987. A division bench of justice Najmi Waziri and justice Vikas Mahajan of Delhi High Court, while rejecting the arguments of Rajasthan government, granted the probate (validation) of the will created by Sardar Singh to the trustees.

The Delhi High Court has granted temporary relief to nine Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students rusticated on sexual harassment charges, allowing them to write their exams. Justice Vikas Mahajan directed JNU to refrain from evicting the students from their hostels until the next hearing on May 28.

Delhi High Court has asked the Delhi government, Municipal Corporation of Delhi and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to consider if playgrounds of government schools can be made available to children and sports enthusiasts, more so during summer vacations. Omar Abdullah's plea for divorce citing cruelty by his estranged wife Payal was rejected by the Delhi High Court. The court upheld the family court decision that denied Abdullah a decree of divorce. The allegations of cruelty were deemed vague and unacceptable, and Abdullah failed to prove any act of cruelty. The couple had been living separately since 2009. Abdullah was directed to pay monthly interim maintenance to his estranged wife and for the education of his two sons.
