Facebook-parent company Meta has announced that Dina Powell McCormick has joined its executive leadership team as President and Vice Chairman. Reporting directly to Founder and CEO
Mark Zuckerberg, Powell McCormick will oversee Meta’s overall strategy and execution as company aims to bolster its ‘Superintelligence’ team. She is expected to play a critical role in managing the company’s multi-billion-dollar investments in data centres, energy systems and global connectivity.
Dina has more than 25 years of experience in global finance, national security and economic development. She spent 16 years at Goldman Sachs as a partner in senior leadership roles and spearheaded some of the firm’s most influential and successful economic development initiatives.
Dina has also served two US presidents. She was Deputy National Security Advisor to President Donald J. Trump and served as a Senior White House Advisor and Assistant Secretary of State for Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice under President George W. Bush.
