Puducherry horror: 14-year-old locked and gang-raped by teen boyfriend, his 3 pals; rescued by cops

CHENNAI: A 14-year-old girl was gang raped by four minors, including her boyfriend, in Puducherry. Police have arrested all the four, who were school dropouts aged 17. Police said the girl, studying in Class IX, went to meet her boyfriend in Bahour on Friday. As she didn't return home even after dusk, her panicked parents began a search for her.When they did not find her friends' homes, they lodged a police complaint. Police ascertained on Saturday that the girl was in Bahour and rescued her. Police said her boyfriend, along with his minor friends, locked her in a room and raped her. When police reached the spot, they found her unconscious. Police have also launched a hunt for two more of their friends. Police said the two were not involved in the sexual assault but were aware of the girl being locked in the room. The four minors were under the influence of drugs, police said.(The victim's identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme Court directives on cases related to sexual assault)
