Michael Clarke and her model girlfriend Lara Bingle have called off their engagement, ending days of speculation about their relationship.
International Quarterback, the public relations firmrepresenting the star cricketer, broke the official news in a briefstatement.
"Michael Clarke and Lara Bingle have decided to end theirengagement," Herald Sun newspaper reported quoting thestatement.
"They ask the media to respect their privacy during thisdifficult time. No further comment will be made."
Clarke returned toAustralia from the team's tour of New Zealand earlier this week after the22-year-old Bingle gave an exclusive interview with Women's Day magazine intothe nude picture scandal that broke over 10 days ago.
She claims AFL footballer Brendan Fevola circulated a nude photo of her taken in a shower during an affair between the pair in 2006 and is seeking to sue him in court.
It had been reported that Bingle was paid as much as $200,000for the interview and photo shoot but her manager Max Markson and the magazinehave denied this.
