Ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers' clash against the Chicago Bulls on January 26, coach JJ Redick talked about the famous GOAT debate. The Lakers’ head coach finally broke his silence on the ongoing topic that involved Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Redick refused to take sides while offering his opinion. According to him, both LeBron and Jordan are two of the greatest players of all time. He went on to reveal his experience working with LeBron since LeBron joined the Lakers as head coach

The debate of the Greatest of All Time has been there for quite some time now. Both LeBron's and Jordan’s legacies have been compared. Their stats have been listed and compared to see who stands out. JJ Redick shares his opinion on NBA GOAT debate involving LeBron James and Michael Jordan

During the pre-game appearance, as the Los Angeles Lakers prepared to face the Chicago Bulls, JJ Redick was asked about his opinion on the forever ongoing GOAT debate. The Lakers’ head coach crafted an impressive response to the query. He stated, “I have always said that the greatest players in any era would be great in any era. It's hard to compare eras and playstyles. To me, it’s even harder to compare stats.”


Redick went on to explain his stance, “You know Jordan is 1, LeBron is 1, Jordan is 2, LeBron is 2. However, you want to do it, for me, they are two of the greatest players of all time.” Redick then shifted to sharing his experience working with LeBron. He stated, “You hear about how LeBron prepares. Never was his teammate. So never got to experience it first hand. But now being around in the last year and a half, he is a maniac. He is maniacal about his approach and preparation. Every single day is centered on how do I prepare my body and my mind to play the next game.” The coach believed that LeBron’s journey is the perfect example for any NBA athlete to get inspired by.

LeBron James announces surprise guest for Mind The Game Podcast

It has been quite some time since the last episode of the Mind The Game podcast came out. Ahead of the game on Monday, LeBron James made a surprising announcement for the fans. He started the announcement by stating how Steve Nash is away and covering NBA games in Europe. So to replace him temporarily, the Lakers’ star invited a guest host for the show and it is none other than the Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton. Tyrese accepted the offer on one condition and it is only if Tyrese gets to ask one specific question to LeBron. While both athletes shared a laugh during the announcement, we will get to know what the question is only during the episode.
