Tyrese Haliburton stayed behind after the Indiana Pacers' devastating Game 7 loss in the NBA Finals last summer. Due to his Achilles injury, he is still sidelined. He is currently recovering from the injury, thus he did not play in Saturday's game. According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Haliburton will actually miss the entire 2025-2026 season while he recovers from surgery on his right Achilles tendon. However, his fiancé, Jade Jones was still present during Saturday’s game. She even uploaded some pictures on her Instagram after the match. The word "gameday" was written in the middle of the pictures.

Jade Jones’ Instagram picture turned heads as she was present during the match where her fiancé wasn’t playing. The picture appears to have been taken indoors on what seemed like a basketball court. Jones was seen wearing sleek black trousers and monogram-patterned pointed-toe shoes while standing with her feet slightly apart. The caption of the story read: “Game day..”

Meanwhile, the Pacers star is now recovering after suffering a torn right Achilles that ended his season. About the same, Haliburton said to The Athletic’s Shakeia Taylor:“I don’t say I’m stuck in Indiana.. But I was here rehabbing, and I’m in the gym by myself with nobody else in there.”
The injury followed him around and it took him a really long time to recover from the whole incident, mentally. Stating the same, he said: “I think about it every time I blink.. I think about it all the time.”

In spite of the fact that the Pacers star was not playing tonight, they won against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pacers advanced to the NBA Finals and defeated Oklahoma City in Game 7 just seven months ago.However, their star point guard Tyrese Haliburton suffered an Achilles injury that caused him to miss the entire 2025-26 campaign. He is currently going through rehab. In several interviews, talking about it, Haliburton admitted: “It just became sad after some time.. I just want to be able to do what I normally do and I wasn’t able to do that.”In October 2025, he talked about his mental health concerns after the injury. In an exclusive interview with Sports Illustrated, Haliburton discussed what it was like to feel underappreciated. He said: “I was in a dark place. My joy for basketball just wasn’t there.” He further said that he believes he will regain his full strength. However, he went on to say that he doesn't think he will ever be able to move on and be completely over it. Now, he is recovering quickly.
