Megan Thee Stallion is in the spotlight when Dunkin' opens 2026 with a focus on protein, showcasing her strength and attitude. Meg has partnered with the company to introduce Dunkin's new range of Protein Milk and Protein Refreshers, which are intended to add protein to regular drink orders without changing anyone's routine.
To promote her product, she and her NBA boyfriend, Klay Thompson, drove up to Dunkin’s Miami outlet and made a video. In the short clip, which she later uploaded on her Instagram, Klay could be seen taking a video from the car and Meg seemed like she was capturing Klay’s moment.
Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion’s social media video highlights Dunkin’s limited-edition cup giveaway
Dunkin' is giving away free, limited-edition reusable cups to commemorate its partnership with rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Customers who order any new Dunkin' Protein Refresher on January 16, starting at 10 a.m. local time, will receive free sunset-colored cups with the words "Hot Girls Run on Dunkin" printed on them, while supplies last.
Meg recently visited one of the stores and made an Instagram video on the same. The caption of the video read:
“MIAMI HOTTIES you better get up to DUNKIN quick bc it’s only gonna be A Hot Girl take over for the next 2 weeks.. @dunkin..”
Meg could be heard saying:
“Babe! Are you a proud boyfriend? Dunk and punk. We got both the cubs. Oh, so cute. I got about seven more of these on deck. I'm slinging them. Okay, come on, tell us… I don't know if it's gonna be out there…"
Then, taking a trip around the entire store, she could be heard saying:
“I'm just hanging out there. I mean, I'm just in disbelief. This is gonna be here for two weeks, Miami-Haddies.
Y'all better run up here… High girls run on Dunkin'. Bye-bye, girls...”
The clip is a compilation of her running around the store, serving drinks in her signature cup and interacting with the customers as well as the staff.
For context, Megan Thee Stallion and Dunkin' Doughnuts collaborated to introduce a limited-edition reusable cup called "Hot Girls Run on Dunkin." There were only 20 cups available in each store, and they were free with any purchase of Protein Refreshers. Stores nationwide were sold out minutes after the 10 a.m. start.
Meg has previously explained the personal inspiration behind her Dunkin’ partnership
The partnership is personal to Megan. According to her, once she made the decision to pursue a more deliberate fitness and health path, protein became a must. Megan told PEOPLE exclusively:
“When I started my health and fitness journey, I just dove in… I didn’t really know too much about the nutrition side of it. But once I started figuring out, ‘Okay girl, if you really want to see some results, you need to be eating and drinking some protein,’ everything clicked.”
She described collaborating with Dunkin' as "an easy layup" after coming to that realization. Coffees, lattes, matcha, and refreshers can all benefit from the addition of protein milk, which gives them a creamy mouthfeel without the chalky flavor that frequently turns people off.
"Hot Girls Run on Dunkin'" was printed on the front of the reusable cup, which had Dunkin's trademark orange and pink gradient colors. Across the cup was Megan's signature, sealed with a neon heart. The design connected to the rapper's continuing partnership with Dunkin' to promote their new Protein Milk brand and was aimed at the rapper's following base, known as the Hotties.
