Anthony Buckley and Lisa Littler have supported Luke since he was very young. His dad, Anthony, works as a taxi driver in Warrington, Cheshire. His mum, Lisa, works in a shop that sells scented candles. Despite busy jobs, they made Luke’s dart career a priority from an early age.

Buckley often drove Littler across the country for tournaments when he was still a child. He even took him to pubs so he could practice on proper dartboards. Anthony has explained that Littler was also good at football, like most kids. But when Luke was nine, Anthony encouraged him to focus mainly on darts. He believed Littler had the talent to go far. Littler accepted that advice and began putting darts first, even if it meant early mornings and no weekends off.

Lisa has always been Luke’s biggest supporter online. Her social media accounts are full of his achievements. She once shared a video of Littler at just 18 months old, laughing and throwing darts at a board while still in nappies. That clip later went viral and amazed fans.

Later, he trained at the famous St Helens Darts Shop. His childhood coach, Karl Holden, has said Luke stood out from the moment he arrived. He explained that Littler kept improving every year and was dominating older players even before his teenage years.
