Jordon Hudson is once again going after CBS after Bill Belichick’s awkward interview with the network turned into one of the biggest sports media stories of the year. The 25-year-old fired back on social media this week and demanded CBS release the full interview footage and transcript from Belichick’s April 2025 appearance on
CBS News Sunday Morning.
The interview was originally meant to promote Bill Belichick’s book
The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football. Instead, it quickly became a viral moment after Hudson interrupted a question about how she and the 74-year-old coach first met. That clip spread all over social media and brought heavy attention to their relationship. It also led to debates about how much influence Hudson has around the former New England Patriots coach.
Now, both Hudson and Belichick are accusing CBS of editing the interview in a misleading way. Hudson shared a video clip online featuring CBS anchor Tony Dokoupil speaking about trust issues inside the network. Along with it, she wrote: “Release the unedited transcript. Release the unedited footage. Holding you to it.”
The controversy has grown even bigger after Belichick recently spoke about the interview during an appearance on Fox News host Sean Hannity’s podcast.
Bill Belichick says CBS interview was edited “deceptively” as Jordon Hudson demands full footage
During the Fox News podcast
Hang Out with Sean Hannity, Sean Hannity told Bill Belichick he was “stunned” by the CBS interview and even suggested the legendary coach should consider suing the network.
Belichick responded by saying he felt the interview was not presented honestly.
“You know, as we’ve seen recently, there have been more editing problems, and they go back over a couple of years—multiple examples of editing and interview process and all that,” Belichick said.
“You know, I thought that the interview I had with them was done very deceptively. I’ve asked for the transcript from them, and they won’t give it to me. They’ve done that with others. I’m not really sure what that policy is.”
The longtime NFL coach also questioned whether CBS is living up to the trust it talks about publicly.
“I’m kind of confused about some of the things that they say they are, but I don’t really see them living up to the trust that they talk about,” Belichick added.
The situation comes during a difficult period for CBS and its parent company Paramount. According to reports, CBS recently faced internal controversy after a planned
60 Minutes segment connected to El Salvador detention center abuse claims was reportedly pulled. The company also settled a lawsuit with Donald Trump last year over the editing of an interview with Kamala Harris. Neither CBS nor Paramount has publicly released the full Belichick interview footage or transcript so far.
