Jaguar TCS Racing driver Mitch Evans claimed his fifth podium of the season at the Monaco E-Prix and had a special helmet to add glamour to the occasion. It was itself a tribute to Monaco, featuring hints of its casinos, a tribute to his dog and even a glamorous woman in a swimsuit. But he was not alone in sporting such a special lid. DS Penske driver Maximilian Gunther also unveiled a helmet inspired by the glamour of Monaco.

Mitch Evans had the most glamorous helmet for Monaco E-Prix

Mitch Evans’ Monaco helmet was designed by a Monaco-based artist and featured a woman in a swimsuit, champagne glasses and even a mention of Evans’ dog, making it one of the most interesting designs ever seen on a racing helmet. The back of the lid also hinted at the various casinos Monaco is famous for.He shared an unveiling video of the helmet and fans were left in awe of the artwork. Evans later posed with his dog sitting on top of the helmet.

Maximilian Gunther’s Monaco helmet had a James Bond connection

Maximilian Gunther had his Formula E number 7 displayed in style on a glamorous new helmet designed specially for the Monaco E-Prix. References to James Bond, a sketch of a woman, playing cards and more made it look even more eye-catching.
Formula E called it “Fresh” in the comments section. A fan commented: “Love it! It’s beautiful!!! So clean! The little dog on the helmet is just,” followed by an emotional face emoji.
Unveiling the helmet before the Monaco races, Gunther wrote on Instagram: “The name is Gunther. Maximilian Gunther. Really happy to share my Monaco E-Prix helmet, displaying the style and prestige of this incredible race. Many number 7s visible on it, too. Can’t wait to have it out on the track for my home race this weekend.”Gunther finished 10th despite starting third on the grid in the Round 9 race. However, he failed to score points on Day 2 of the Monaco E-Prix, finishing 13th in the Round 10 race.Sharing his thoughts on Instagram alongside a few pictures from Monaco, the DS Penske driver wrote: “Racing through the principality hits different. Delivered strong pace all weekend and qualified in the top three. The races were again challenging for us - even though we had a genuine shot at a podium on Saturday. Some points on the board and we move on to the Asian rounds next.
