Afghanistan didn’t begin well with the new ball. They leaked far too many runs but the likes of Rashid, AM Ghazanfar and Nangeyalia Kharote did well in the middle overs to pull things back. Kharote was the pick with a three fer but he was well supported by the other two. Afghanistan though face a stiff chase, they do have a quality batting line up but they’ll need to bat well. Bangladesh on the other hand, will want to pick up early wickets and put the hosts under pressure. Stay tuned for the chase.

That’s a good score posted by Bangladesh on a tricky wicket! Their top order got them off to a very good start. Especially Sarkar and Shanto. They added over 50 in quick time before Sarkar fell. Shanto though continued and scored a fine half ton. Bangladesh though did lose three wickets in between where they let the hosts back into the game but the lower order has taken them close to 250. Really good efforts from Jaker and Nasum. Their cameos can well be match winning cameos.
