Marathi play Hamidabaichi Kothi will always remain very special: Manava Naik

Well-known theatre actor Manava Naik is currently making her presence felt in Chandrakant Kulkarni’s popular Marathi play, ‘Hamlet’. The actor admits that ‘being associated with a play like ‘Hamlet’, is a great experience’ but goes on to add quite honestly, “As an actor, my first commercial play was ‘Hamidabaichi Kothi’, it will always remain special for me. Whenever I go back in time and think of those days, my heart misses a beat. The thrill of facing the audience thanks to that very special play, gives me a high even now. In fact, after that my love for theatre has grown manifold and I appreciate the quality of work being done in Marathi theatre.”
