The second day of the Times Lit Fest Delhi 2015 held an engaging workshop for the youngest minds of the city on Sunday. Organised for children between the age group of 4-7 years, it encouraged kids to start thinking outside the box and channel their inner creativity.
The conductor of the workshop, Ritu Agarwal, interacted with the children. She asked them about their favourite animated characters, and even narrated a story.
“The Day the Crayons Quit is a story that speaks to a wide age group. Listening to stories like this motivate children to start thinking, be creative and use their imagination,” said Agarwal.
“My favourite story is the Lion and the Mouse. I like hearing similar stories,” says Ishita, a six year old. “I liked how the sky was yellow and not blue in the story. I also learnt a new word, beige,” says Raghav, a four year old participant.
With various events for adults and the learned, the children workshop comes across as an encouraging step towards shaping the minds of the younger lot.
