Oman Air cancels flights to 9 cities from March 9–15 amid ongoing regional airspace closures

Due to continued airspace closures around the Middle East, Oman Air has announced the cancellation of multiple foreign flights. The airline stated that because regional aviation issues continue to impede operations, the cancellations will continue to impact flights that are scheduled to operate between March 9 and March 15, 2026.

Flights to multiple destinations cancelled Oman Air confirmed that all flights to and from the following destinations will remain suspended during the affected period:

Amman

Dubai

Manama (Bahrain)

Doha

Dammam

Kuwait City

Copenhagen

Baghdad

Khasab

The airline said the suspension is a direct result of regional airspace restrictions, which have disrupted aviation operations across several countries.

Additional flights added for affected passengers

To assist travellers impacted by the cancellations, Oman Air said it has scheduled extra flights to accommodate passengers wherever possible. Alos, for the all the recent updates on flight schedules, the airline has also asked its patrons to frequently visit its official website.

Customers can also check their bookings, including rebooking options, through the airline’s website or mobile app.
