10 most beautiful countries in the world; India on the list

The internet is introduced to a number of “most beautiful places in the world” lists, at regular intervals. They’re shared, debated, screenshot taken, fought over in comment sections, and promptly forgotten, until the next one drops.
This time, Infodex posted its take on X, ranking the most beautiful countries in the world. This list isn’t about one perfect beach or a single Instagram-famous mountain. Instead, it celebrates variety, the kind of beauty that changes every few hours, sometimes every few kilometres.
From dramatic coastlines and dense rainforests to ancient cities and everyday streets that somehow feel cinematic, these countries prove that beauty isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some wow you with scale, others with colour, history, chaos, calm, or all of the above at once. Here are the ten countries that made Infodex’s list, and why they linger in your head long after you’ve left.

2/11

Australia

Australia is one of those countries that Indians love to visit. One minute you’re gazing at the fiery red, sun-scorched Outback that seems to go on forever in every direction, and the next minute you’re hovering above the neon-blue coral reefs. Every place is extreme in some sort, which means you are in for a treat when here. The scenic drives along the coast are a never-ending stretch of beaches, while there are places where you get introduced to kangaroos, rainforests, cliffs that plummet vertically into the ocean, and cities that are always about outdoors.

3/11

Mexico

Mexico has always been there with a complete spectrum of colors. The colonial cities radiate in pink, yellow, and blue hues, while the ancient ruins rest carelessly, if they belonged there all along, and the shores change their moods abruptly that it can be blink and a miss moment for you. From the calm Caribbean colors to the crashing Pacific waves, the beauty of Mexico is not merely in its looks but in every corner, its cuisine, its celebrations, and its history that refuses to remain confined to museums.

4/11

Brazil

Brazil’s beauty is somehow underrated. Once you visit this place, you understand its level. The Amazon rainforest alone would be enough to qualify it for this list, but then there’s Rio, where mountains meet beaches and cities in one single iconic scene. Waterfalls roar, wetlands seem to go on forever, and almost everything seems to feel so big, bold, and alive. Brazil’s nature will lure you in the same rhythm as its culture, which is full of energy, and impossible to ignore.

5/11

United States

It remains on the news for some reason or the other. But that doesn’t mean its beauty can be ignored. Deserts bleed into mountains, glaciers exist not too far from beaches, and forests give way to canyons that look unreal. There are national parks that still feel raw and cinematic, while cities allow you to witness layers of architecture, culture, and ambition. Whether it’s an empty highway cutting through nowhere or a quiet lake surrounded by peaks, the US does scenery like no other maybe.

6/11

China

The beauty of China has an antiquated feel, as if it was there long before people began earnestly trying to document it in photographs. There are misty mountains, rivers, terraced rice fields and karst formations that look as if they should belong to another planet. Cities and temples literally bear the beauty of hundreds of years of history, and welcome travellers with open arms.

7/11

India

India is not just about one thing. Within one nation, there are snow-capped mountains, palm-lined beaches, deserts, thick woods, and expansive rivers. There's layers of beauty to India; the colours, architecture, customs, languages and way of life as well as its awe-inspiring landscapes. Each will make you feel like you’re visiting a country, and no two trips will ever be identical. It would be intense for some folks, very interesting surely!

8/11

Canada

Canada’s beauty is the kind that doesn’t rush you. Vast mountain ranges, turquoise lakes, thick forests, and Arctic landscapes stretch out with room to spare. Wildlife appears casually, and even famous spots feel uncrowded compared to elsewhere. There’s a sense of calm built into the land itself. Canada gives you that ample space to notice things at your own pace.

9/11

Indonesia

Indonesia is a scrumptious piece of beauty. There are thousands of islands, postcard-perfect beaches, rain-forest-hidden waterfalls and volcanoes that rise above rice terraces. Powerful cultural and spiritual traditions imbue daily life a complexity that is not always readily apparent given the scene. The appeal of the site is mainly because it can be forceful and calm at the same time.

10/11

France

The quintessence of the rolling hills, vineyards, fields of lavender, tranquil sea sides, and historical towns in France effortlessly blend together in a laid-back style. Cities feel like they were designed more than built, and the countryside is imploring you to take your time to explore the place of your dreams. The appeal of France is its ability to make the everyday look good.

11/11

Colombia

It's that kind of place that is guaranteed to shock you in a few ways most people can’t even dream of. There are jungles, Caribbean beaches, coffee-covered hills and multicolored cities that coexist in a surprisingly compact space. The towns are colorful, the landscapes shift quickly, everything is alive without being overwhelming.
