Music's craziest night - MTV Video Music Awards went down last night at Microsoft Theater on Aug. 30. And as history is testimony, the VMA red carpet fashion are anything but underwhelming.

So we decided to decode the night's biggest winner - Taylor Swift's stylish red carpet look.

Ditching her signature feminine silhouettes, Taylor Swift chose to walk the red carpet in an embellished houndstooth crop top and harem pants.

The 'Bad Blood' singer's pulled back hair and thick cat-eyed liner perfectly complimented her bold outfit.

Taylor elevated her red carpet look with a gold-metallic Louboutin heels.

If there was an award at the end of the night for the best red carpet look we'd give it to Taylor Swift, who not only walked away with the night's biggest award - Video of the Year, but had every fashion police by her side.

This is by far Taylor's most 'bold' looks at a red carpet event. She is known for her feminine silhouettes and princessy appearance.
